Thoughts on speech

Pulling quotes from Fox News

We need to make America once again a beacon in the world. We need to be looked up to and not just feared.

You don't value families by kicking kids out of after school programs and taking cops off our streets, so that Enron can get another tax break.

And when I am President, the government I lead will enlist people of talent, Republicans as well as Democrats, to find the common ground —so that no one who has something to contribute will be left on the sidelines.

And let me say it plainly: in that cause, and in this campaign, we welcome people of faith. America is not us and them.

OK I only pulled a few quotes for this one. For one, I completely lost count of all the lies that were told, also if I tried to list them here, this post would be miles long and I would be late for work. So lets just cover a couple. I am SICK of hearing that we are alone in Iraq. Every time they say this they are slapping our allies that are also in country with us. These people are our friends dam it. They support us. Now you also know that if France had joined us then John would not be saying ‘alone’. Hey John, “we don’t need them”.

Now the first quote says that America needs respect and not to be feared. Well I for one believe that in the world stage, if you don’t respect us, you better fear us. I would say that right now our enemies do fear us. I like that. Fear is good! In that context at least. Then lets talk about John raising our taxes again. I don’t work for Enron and never did, but I did get a tax cut. I liked having MY money back in MY pocket. Now John said he was not going to raise taxes on people like me and you, but lets look at his voting record shall we? He does not want you to do that. He has always raised taxes on EVERYONE. He wanted a 50 cent increase in the gas tax for goodness sake. Then he said he wants to be a president that unites all people. So lets see, as he and the other John are preaching class warfare, pitting “rich” against “poor”, he goes on national TV and Radio and says I want to bring you all together? Nope don’t buy that ether, and you shouldn’t ether. Than the faith comment. When you read that quote, or when you hear him say this crap, just remember this is the party that harbors the nuts that want to remove ‘under GOD’ from the pledge of allegiants. John does not really believe what he said last night. He just said these things for people that do not want to look at his past and see the truth of who he is. Please don’t be one of them.

Sharpton spews hate!

On Fox News

One of many standing ovations went on for a minute after he told delegates that after the nation failed to deliver on Civil War-era promises of "40 acres and mule" to freed slaves, "we didn't get the mule so we decided we'd ride this donkey as far as it would take us."

I have come here tonight to say, that the only choice we have to preserve our freedoms at this point in history is to elect John Kerry the president of the United States.

Every time I here this man talk, I am reminded that there are clearly racists on TV still, even today, and that’s ok as long as they are the right color and on the right side of politics. This man hates me, he can’t stand me, and he has never even met me, or even heard my name. This is one of the great leaders of the party that wants to unite people? What is funny is that the party he belongs to is run by the people he can’t stand! Rich white people. BTW I am not rich, just for the record. I also feel sorry for this man and anyone that buys into his hate. It does not have to be this way. Racism needs to be distained on both sides, not just one. He also says that the votes are not for sale? Yeah he is really up on Politics in general there. Sure its not. Nope Dumbacrats dont take any moeny from special interests. Nope, never have.
I like the comment the only choice we have is to elect Kerry. So let me see…‘we don’t like Kerry, we know he lies, a very very rich white guy, clamed that he was a war criminal in front of congress, or lied to congress, one or the other, but he is still better than the republicans…’ Yep that’s what he said. LOL. On top of that even though he said that he took part in the alleged atrocities in Viet Nam they hold him up as a Hero? Wow if I tried to understand that logic, I would hurt myself.

Oh and then the other John gave a speech and talked about Kerry. Did you know that Kerry was in Viet Nam? Wow I would have never known if I did not hear that speech. Jeez get over it and move on. What are your ideas? None only that you can do it better. OK How? Again no answer. Oh and then there are the adds running that have Kerry saying he can lower the cost of health care by streamlining the paperwork. Well is he saying that while in congress, where he helped create the paperwork, he did not do any work on reducing the paperwork, but as president he will be able to do that? No friends he is lying again. The President can not do that, All the President could do is propose to change the Medicare runes, it would still take congress to change them and then the President could sign the change into law. Government 101.

The man from Far Left Field

I read this in the Seattle PI

McDermott is clearly enjoying this convention and the improbability of becoming a minor celebrity. The notoriety came after he landed an extended appearance in Michael Moore's blockbuster film, Fahrenheit 9/11.

This whole article is about how the Dumbacrats are embracing this clearly far left wacko! This is they guy that on TV said that he trusts Saddam Hussein more than the President of the United States! This is the guy that said that they timed the capture of Saddam so the it would help the President! This guy is a nut! He is right at home with the far left nuts in Seattle, and would fit right in with anyone from Berkley. I have to give him this though, unlike the Dumbacrats choice for President, Mr. McDermott does not waffle or flip flop. He knows what he stands for and is proud of it at all times. I cant stand his politics at all, but I can respect that.

They think all people are stupid

This is all over, but I am going to be pulling from:

Washington Times

And Fox News

"Instead of making America more secure, they have made us less so," Mr. Kennedy said. "They have made it harder to win the real war on terrorism, the war against al Qaeda. And none of this had to happen."

"John is a fighter," she said. "He earned his medals the old-fashioned way: by putting his life on the line for his country."
She also said America has strayed from "its moral bearings" and called for it to reject "thoughtless and greedy choices," although she didn't identify any examples of such choices.

Ok I will start with the obvious here. Apparently Mr. Kennedy had to much to drink again. He seems to think that because the French and Germans are mad at us, that it is harder to win the war on terrorism. Well again he is wrong, there is a reason that the terrorists are keeping their heads down right now, and its not because of anything the French have done or said!

Now, Mrs. Kerry. She talked about Kerry earning his medals, but she forgot to say that he later bad mouth his brothers in arms and then through his medals over the fence at the white house. That might be a detail people need to know. Oh and did you know that John Kerry was in Viet Nam? Yeah he was. They she talks about greedy choices? How much is she worth again? Jeez these people are hypocrites!

DNC convention kicks off

Saw it everywhere I looked!

Don’t expect much out of me this week, because the news is all going to be about the (D) people. I will try to find other things to talk about if I can. One thing I saw last night was an interview with Hillary before she had her speech. One thing she said that kind of made me laugh. She said we should be asking who we would want so be in a fox hole with. Of course she said we should pick Kerry. Uh.. No. As having spent some time in a fox hole myself, I would have to pick someone else. Surprisingly my first choice is not Bush ether. Its Vice President Dick Cheney. Anyone that tells a senator to F-himself is a person that I want watching my back! Now did you know that Kerry was in Viet Nam? Well in case you missed it, he was. When he was there he was on a river patrol boat, and in charge. They came under fire. He apparently tagged the slime ball with a 50cal. Then he got out of the boat and chased him down and killed the slime ball. OK this might sound heroic, but the commander of the boat got out of his boat to chase down a single bad guy. This is clearly stupid and just the wrong thing to do. He left his men. Risked his life and the life of his men doing this stupid stunt, but hey he is a war hero now!

Love those peace protesters

Saw this on FoxNews.com

A brief scuffle broke out on the Common between some of the peace demonstrators and a man carrying a graphic anti-abortion sign. Witnesses said the man was pushed to the ground and his shirt was torn, but he was unhurt.

"Mr. Bush lies," said Del Solar, of Escondido, Calif. As for the Democrat, he said, "Mr. Kerry is very confused. On one side, he says the war is wrong. On the other side, he says we need more boys in Iraq."

The first is just so funny and typical. When they disagree with you, and heaven forbid that you disagree with them, they resort to violence! It is so funny. They also show how tolerant they are of other options! Now you also know they did not arrest the protesters, they are on the democratic side for goodness sake.

Now the Bush Lied guy. Well he just needs to do some homework and get a little bit of an education. If you say Bush lied then you must believe that he did in fact know all the facts. That the CIA did give him the right information. You must also believe that the 911 commission lied in its findings, that the Senate intelligence committee lied also about its finding. By the way there are several Dumbacrats on those committees, and they must have lied to. The only thing this guy got right is that Kerry is confused. Which is very much is! I can see him giving two different speeches this week. One on how he supports the war on terror and then after it one on how we really need to just cut and run.

The Dumbacrats want to keep protesters in a cage

Saw this on Right Wing News:

You need to go to the link above to see the cage itself. I can only imagine the whining and screeching if they had these at the Republican convention. Al Gore would show up again and scream ‘brown shirts’. Cries of Nazi’s and Look how evil they are, were are my first amendment rights, and so on. Is the cage over the top. I am not sure. Am I picking on the (D)’s for having them at there convention, no.
