International Observers?

From FoxNews:

Responding to a request from 13 Democratic congressmen and the State Department, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will be sending a group to make sure the United States holds a fair election in November.

Lawmakers who requested the OSCE presence said problems in the 2000 election spurred them to ask the international organization to participate. They say that the monitors will help ensure that the United States should have nothing to hide, but the observers will be there to make sure the election does not suffer any civil rights violations or other irregularities.

Rep. Barbara Lee "felt that given the sort of problems that occurred in the 2000 election that it would be important that there be election monitors on hand for this election," said Stuart Chapman, a spokesman for the California Democrat.

But critics say that inviting an international organization is not only insulting to the world's strongest democracy, but it also puts U.S. sovereignty at risk.

"A lot of Americans are naturally going to be insulted by the idea that there is something wrong with our democratic process and that we need these bureaucrats from abroad," said Jeff Deist, spokesman for Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas.

I am not only insulted, but I am pissed off about this. Where in the hell were the Republicans on this? Why did they not try to block this? Were they sleeping? Oh and what authority do these observers have anyway? Do they get go look for the hanging chads? I would bet they were hand picked by the crats just in case they need to use them to get some credibility and fight the election outcome. This is just reduculous and should not be tolerated in the slightest. I don’t know who these (D)umbacrats are but if they work for you, you should let them know who wrong this is!

See you Monday

I have a trip to go on. See you Monday!

Voters angry, so what

From the Seattle PI:

"You have lost my primary vote," declared another voter, reacting, like the first, to Washington's new primary election system.

"I have never voted party line, and I'll not be strong-armed into party line now!" another wrote.

"We will NEVER vote again," vowed another.

Those were some of the nicer e-mails -- the milder-mannered and non-profane ones -- that poured into the office of Secretary of State Sam Reed in the past week. And that was before voters had even seen the unfamiliar new ballots, meaning that the anger might intensify when they receive absentee ballots that went into the mail starting yesterday.

No longer will voters be able to skip back and forth across the primary ballot, voting for a Democrat for one office, a Republican for another and a Libertarian for still another.

Boy I hope they never vote again. That might even help Seattle and Washington state! So here are the facts. The primary is for the parties to choose who gets to run in THE election. It is not THE election. If you are not a member of the party why do you think that you should choose who will represent them? I am sorry this bothers you so much, ok so I’m not, but get a life people. Yep it’s a new system, but in the defense of the politicians that picked this new system, they did not want to change the system. Some Judge decided that somewhere in the constitution it says that it can not be a open primary. I say constitution because he is suppose to read the current law and determine if it is constitutional. So they came up with two systems. One was like the open primary that we had before, but the two top vote getters go on to the main event. The problem with this is that, in this state, you would have a choice between (D)umbacrat 1 and (D)umbacrate 2 that is just not a system that I would like as I would have no one that I would want to vote for. The other system is a closed primary where the party picks its man to run. Gary Locke did something right when he chose this system. So if you don’t like it. Fine then don’t vote!

John Kerry Lying again? NO can’t be!

From The Washington Times:

John Kerry's own wartime journal is raising questions about whether he deserved the first of three Purple Hearts, which permitted him to go home after 4½ months of combat.

A primary claim against Mr. Kerry by the Swift Boat Veterans is that Mr. Kerry's first Purple Heart — awarded for action on Dec. 2, 1968 — did not involve the enemy and that Mr. Kerry's wounds that day were unintentionally self-inflicted.

Mr. Kerry has claimed that he faced his "first intense combat" that day, returned fire, and received his "first combat related injury."
A journal entry Mr. Kerry wrote Dec. 11, however, raises questions about what really happened nine days earlier.
"A cocky feeling of invincibility accompanied us up the Long Tau shipping channel because we hadn't been shot at yet, and Americans at war who haven't been shot at are allowed to be cocky," wrote Mr. Kerry, according the book "Tour of Duty" by friendly biographer Douglas Brinkley.
If enemy fire was not involved in that or any other incident, according to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, no medal should be awarded.

Well I can no longer say that I am not sure. Yep he is lying and has been apparently. At least about this and Christmas. This is exactly why he does not want to, and will not release his actual military records. Crud, we are getting the facts straight even with out them, it just takes longer this way. But that’s ok, because in the end it makes him look even worse. Just thinking about putting in a purple hart for an accidental self inflicted wound is unthinkable to me, then on top of that by all accounts that I have heard it was VERY minor.

Kerry has no one to blame here except himself. He said bring it on, well they are. Even if this Jerk get elected, I don’t think this is going to go away for him. It least one good thing for him that his supporters don’t give a crap about the truth or character, or morals, or positive leadership. Yep that’s a good thing for him, bad for ALL of us though.

Put them on a long flight!

From Fox News:

But by returning illegal immigrants deep into the heart of Mexico rather than dropping them off just south of the border, officials hope the immigrants might not be as eager to try and cross the border again.

"The goal is to discourage illegal entry into the United States and also to save lives," said Homeland Security Under Secretary Asa Hutchinson.

I really hope this works. I am so sick of these people breaking the law to get here. Its not like there is no way for them to get in legally, it can be done. It just takes time and effort, two things they do not want to use. I wish we could do more to stop them, maybe one day we will.

Its Election Stealing Time!!!

I found this on Right Thinking from the Left Coast :

Quotes from Reuters :

About 46,000 people are registered to vote in two states, New York and Florida, a violation of both states' laws that could affect the outcome of the November presidential election, according to an investigation by the Daily News.

The Daily News said it could not provide an exact count of how many people vote in both places, because millions of names are purged between elections. But the newspaper found that between 400 and 1,000 registered voters voted twice in at least one election, a federal offense punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Of the 46,000 registered in both states, 68 percent are Democrats, 12 percent are Republicans and 16 percent didn't align themselves with a party, the newspaper reported on Sunday.

The duel registrations have gone undetected because election officials do not check voter rolls across state lines, the newspaper said.

"There's no extensive investigation normally on a voter registration form," Steven Richman, general counsel for the city Board of Elections, told the paper. "We accept it at its face value."

Who would have thought! Naa Never. Nope cant be! All these people that are cross registered need to be contacted and removed from one of the rolls. You would think that would make sense right? Don’t bet on it is what I say. Now for the people that did vote twice.. Why is no one going after them? Fine them and put them in jail! The last quote that they just accept it at its face value, this is what is really wrong with the system. Geezz in this age its not hard to do this stuff quickly and efficiently. Why cant they get with the program? Oh right 68% are on there side?

Kids no longer see Red

I got this from Right Wing News:

Quotes from Boston.com

"If you see a whole paper of red, it looks pretty frightening," said Sharon Carlson, a health and physical education teacher at John F. Kennedy Middle School in Northampton. "Purple stands out, but it doesn't look as scary as red."

Yeah I know when I got my papers back and I saw Red (Lots of RED) I almost always started peeing my pants and looking for an exit to escape from! Also when I finally did graduate the stock price of the Red Ink manufactures dropped over 30% that day alone. These people have lost it completely! I guess my question is what’s next? Just taking the papers and destroying them, and never grading them just to protect there little feelings?

I like Alice Cooper Again!

BitsBlog is on it again!

"To me, that's treason. I call it treason against rock 'n' roll because rock is the antithesis of politics. Rock should never be in bed with politics," says the 56-year-old Cooper

"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal."

Despite his strong insistence that rock has no place in politics, Cooper is one of just a handful of high-profile musicians who've proclaimed support for Bush.

This is finally one star that gets it! He might have proclaimed his support for Bush, but he also says the truth in that his opinion should not influence anyone! Dam I might have to go and buy one of his records now.

Dole Finally Interesting

All over, but quotes from BitsBlog:

"One day he's saying that we were shooting civilians, cutting off their ears, cutting off their heads, throwing away his medals or his ribbons," Dole said. "The next day he's standing there, `I want to be president because I'm a Vietnam veteran.' Maybe he should apologize to all the other 2.5 million veterans who served. He wasn't the only one in Vietnam."

Dole added: "And here's, you know, a good guy, a good friend. I respect his record. But three Purple Hearts and never bled that I know of. I mean, they're all superficial wounds. Three Purple Hearts and you're out."

Kerry spokesman Chad Clanton replied: "It's unfortunate that Senator Dole is making statements that official U.S. Navy records prove false. This is partisan politics, not the truth."

This is the most interesting thing that Dole has said since the charisma meter imploded during his run at the big office! Now if Dole believes what is in this book, and it seems he does, it can not be good news for the Johns. I mean that a lot of things have been said about Dole (like he is very boring), but I don’t think I have ever heard anyone question his honesty or integrity? Not that I can remember at least.

I also have to agree with Bit here. It is very interesting that at one time Kerry called the military and its records liars, but now they are the golden unquestionable truth? Well I might even agree with that a little if it were not for 200+ people that were there and witnessed events live and in living color (apparently they did not need to make movies for there memory to work also). If it were one or two other vets you could dismiss it but 200+? Now if your are that major media I wonder what the threshold is before you start covering a story? 10,000 1,000,000? Who knows, most likely they just don’t care, they don’t want to care, they want there Kerry no matter what the truth is!
