Gone again
Bush Speech
You can find the text. There are just to many good lines to try to include them all here.
I believe that Bush put on one of his best performances. He covered all the issues that were needed to be covered. I wish he would have stayed on domestic issues more, and I don’t like growing the government, but at least he has a real plan and a direction. Kerry seems like a box of Chocolates you never know what your going to get. I am sure Kerry is upset about the speech, but I am not sure what he is going to do about it except whine and lie. I am waiting for a bounce I can only hope happens. Did Bush blow me away? No. Did I hear what I expected to here? Yes. Am I disappointed? Maybe just a little. I was hoping for more energy, a even more upbeat delivery, a speech that made me want to clap and get out of my seat. It was not a bad speech by any means, I just wanted more.

Want a Night! WOW!
Quotes of Zell Miller from Yahoo!
Quotes of Dick Cheney from All American Patriots:
The clear answer to that question has placed me in this hall with you tonight. For my family is more important than my party. There is but one man to whom I am willing to entrust their future and that man's name is George Bush
What has happened to the party I've spent my life working in?
I can remember when Democrats believed that it was the duty of
It is not their patriotism — it is their judgment that has been so sorely lacking. They claimed Carter's pacifism would lead to peace.
They were wrong.
They claimed Reagan's defense buildup would lead to war.
They were wrong.
And, no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often than the two Senators from
This is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of our U.S. Armed Forces?
If you were in the room with me last night mostly what you would have heard was: wow….Wow….WOW…dam…WOW! …DAM!!
He totally blew me away. This man was genuinely angry with Kerry and his party. You could see it in his face, and his delivery. Please go and find a video of the speech if you did not see it last night. I think it was all he could do not to start cussing out Kerry. I just wish he would move here so we could ask him to run for an office. I’d vote for him! They are calling him mean, he was not mean he was Pissed off, and using clear examples of why. Examples that they are going to have a hard time defending. Love this guy! Again GO TEAM!
President Bush does not deal in empty threats and half measures, and his determination has sent a clear message. Just five days after Saddam was captured, the government of
Senator Kerry began his political career by saying he would like to see our troops deployed "only at the directive of the United Nations." During the 1980s, Senator Kerry opposed Ronald Reagan's major defense initiatives that brought victory in the Cold War. In 1991, when Saddam Hussein occupied
Senator Kerry denounces American action when other countries don't approve as if the whole object of our foreign policy were to please a few persistent critics. In fact, in the global war on terror, as in
Senator Kerry also takes a different view when it comes to supporting our military. Although he voted to authorize force against Saddam Hussein, he then decided he was opposed to the war, and voted against funding for our men and women in the field. He voted against body armor, ammunition, fuel, spare parts, armored vehicles, extra pay for hardship duty, and support for military families. Senator Kerry is campaigning for the position of commander in chief. Yet he does not seem to understand the first obligation of a commander in chief and that is to support American troops in combat.

On
Cheney gave a great speech! To be honest I thought it would be boring, it wasn’t. Yes he started out slow in a style that I expected from him, but he picked up, his humor showed through big as day! What a great guy. A real leader! He hit all the key points about the President, why you should vote for him. He then drew sharp contrasts between him and Kerry. Very sharp. No attacks on his war record. He attacked Kerry on his voting record. Something that Kerry does not want to talk about ever. He also talked about Bush’s record in office, something that no one did at the D’s convention. I wonder why? He is Someone that I would love to talk to for hours on end! GREAT JOB! GO TEAM!!!

Republicans have a real problem
Quotes taken from News Max:
President Bush apparently tells Karl Rove on a daily basis that he is terribly worried about ‘turnout’ and ‘getting out the vote.’ He knows that no such problem exists on the Left: the anti-Bush crowd just can’t wait to vote in November.
Now the real problem is apparently over confidence. What got me on this subject? Well I got the chance to listen to Rush yesterday, most of the time I am at work so I can’t. I also listen to lots of other talk radio when I am on my way to or from work. They are all saying the same things for the last 3-4 days it seems. Kerry is imploding. He is falling apart. Bush will have an easy win. Sorry it does sound good, but I just don’t buy it. They keep talking about the polls in a lot of places giving the President between a 2-4 point lead. They call that a big lead? B.S. call me when its 7-10 points. 2-4 is crap. Where are there heads? Have they not been paying attention?
Here are the facts as I see them. The (D)umbacrats could run Bozo the clown (sorry Bozo) against the President and get at least %47 of the vote with out even running an add. Ok its not quite that bad, but it is really close. Most of the people that are going to vote for Kerry don’t know him, don’t care to know him, and just plane hate Bush. That’s all and that’s it. I am very worried that they are going to win. I agree with the President, I don’t here the excitement from friends of mine that are republican. They are going to vote for the man sure, but there is no energy on our side. The Kerry people have energy, the energy of hate, but at least that is something. I hope we can change some minds in the next 60 days.
Arnold Hits a Homerun!
Speech Quotes from Yahoo!
I finally arrived here in 1968. I had empty pockets, but I was full of dreams. The presidential campaign was in full swing. I remember watching the Nixon and Humphrey presidential race on TV. A friend who spoke German and English, translated for me. I heard Humphrey saying things that sounded like socialism, which is what I had just left. But then I heard Nixon speak. He was talking about free enterprise, getting government off your back, lowering taxes and strengthening the military. Listening to Nixon speak sounded more like a breath of fresh air.
I said to my friend, "What party is he?" My friend said, "He's a Republican." I said, "Then I am a Republican!"
If you believe your family knows how to spend your money better than the government does... then you are a Republican!
If you believe this country, not the United Nations, is the best hope of democracy in the world ... then you are a Republican! And, ladies and gentlemen ...if you believe we must be fierce and relentless and terminate terrorism ... then you are a Republican!
To those critics who are so pessimistic about our economy, I say: "Don't be economic girlie men!"
These are my favorite quotes from his speech. What a great job. I was expecting much less than this from him. Boy am I glad I was wrong! There was even talk that we was asked to not use the girlie men comment. Well I am glad he did! Everyone expected it and wanted to here him say it. If the other side gets mad, what are they going to do through a temper tantrum like girlie men? He really did an excellent job and I am sure glad he was there to speak! I know that he does not agree with all of the platform, and him and I would not agree on a lot of things, but the point is that we all have a core and that keeps us together and we really are inclusive and unlike the (D)umbacrats we are tolerant of other opinions. It’s the core that’s important, and we all share that core. Lets go TEAM!!!
Dave Reichert walks out on a debate?
From the Seattlepi
King County Sheriff Dave Reichert is sick and tired of "dirty politics," and he's not going to take it anymore.
Reichert was irked by recent direct mailings from Tebelius and Esser questioning his loyalty to the Republican Party and blaming him for a $7 million settlement paid out because of a lawsuit involving late overtime payments to sheriff's office employees, according to Bruce Boram, his campaign manager.
"Diane and Luke know better than that, and they should be ashamed," Reichert said in an interview after the forum. "If you are going to attack me, attack me with facts -- not misleading information or things taken out of context."
"Everyone tells him, 'This is how politics is played,' " Boram said. "His response is, 'It shouldn't be like this.' "
I have to agree with both sides on this one. Right now I am going to vote for Reichert, because he is not a politician. That is a big plus for me. I want to ask these other two: what happened to the eleventh commandment? Republicans should not be playing dirty with each other. Its never good to walk out on a debate but I understand why he did. It got attention, that’s what he wanted.

DANEgerus pictures
You might want to check out some of the pictures that DANEgerus has up of the protesters! It’s a real hoot. I wish we could face off with the main stream Left in a battle of wits and intelligence. But I think they may be unarmed, and that would not be fair.
Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!
BitsBlog has a link to Mr. Guliani’s Speech last night
I remember President Bush coming here on September 14, 2001 and lifting the morale of our rescue workers by talking with them and embracing them and staying with them much longer than originally planned.
In fact, if you promise to keep it just between us so I don't get in trouble it was my opinion that the Secret Service was concerned about the president remaining so long in that area.
With buildings still unstable, with fires raging below ground of 2000 degrees or more, there was good reason for concern.
Well the president remained there and talked to everyone, the firefighters, the police officers, the healthcare workers, the clergy, but the people who spent the most time with him were our construction workers.
Now
But one of them really went into great detail and upon conclusion of his remarks President Bush said in a rather loud voice, "I agree."
At this point the guy just beamed and all his buddies turned toward him in amazement.
The guy just lost it.
So he reached over, embraced the president and began hugging him enthusiastically.
A Secret Service agent standing next to me looked at the president and the guy and instead of extracting the president from this bear hug, he turned toward me and put his finger in my face and said, "If this guy hurts the president, Giuliani you're finished."
It stories like that, that only Rudy can tell, that remind us why we must support our president. No he is not perfect, no one is, but when it counts here is there, and he leads! Rudy did a fantastic speech. He reminded us what its all about. Explained to everyone, that was listening that we need a leader that will stick with a decision. Sure he took some shots at Kerry, He made them in a joking manner, but they were shots none the less, and I am sure that the main stream media will be all over them. But the great things about these shots were the fact that they were all on Kerry’s record, which as I have been saying, is exactly where we need to be aiming. It will be very hard, if not impossible, for Kerry to effectively defend himself from these facts. I also liked John McCain’s speech also. He was a little stiff and did not have as much energy, but the message was there. I just wonder if could get Rudy to speak again before Thursday?

Convention Protests Start Today!
Oh yeah and the RNC is there, and might say something important, maybe.
Flanked by police in riot gear, the protesters moved through the fortified city, loudly and exuberantly chanting slogans such as "No more years." They accused the White House of waging an unjust war in
At least that’s what it feels like. Sure they have a right to protest, but you think that the real story would be the opposite. I think the coverage of the protesters are good in some ways, depending on how they are shown and interviewed. Sean Hannity did his Man on the Street segment and talked to several of the young protesters there. Several of them Sean convinced (by giving them the wrong name) that Kerry’s running mate was a MR. Stu Ped. Most all of them bought it. Even the ones that knew who the players were failed when asked one important question; What in the his last 19 years of the Senate has Kerry done that makes you want to vote for him. All most all tried to go into the he’s not Bush. Sean didn’t let them do that. None of them had a answer. Not one, and he interviewed 5-6 of them. If more people or media people would just ask that question when they talk to protesters and also not let them get into the “he’s not bush” or let them answer that way, it would really help us out. I really do think that almost everyone that is going to vote Kerry is using that reason to vote that way, and have no other reason. Smart people when confronted with that will take pause and think and search for a reason.

International Observers?
From FoxNews:
Responding to a request from 13 Democratic congressmen and the State Department, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will be sending a group to make sure the
Lawmakers who requested the OSCE presence said problems in the 2000 election spurred them to ask the international organization to participate. They say that the monitors will help ensure that the
Rep. Barbara Lee "felt that given the sort of problems that occurred in the 2000 election that it would be important that there be election monitors on hand for this election," said Stuart Chapman, a spokesman for the California Democrat.
But critics say that inviting an international organization is not only insulting to the world's strongest democracy, but it also puts
"A lot of Americans are naturally going to be insulted by the idea that there is something wrong with our democratic process and that we need these bureaucrats from abroad," said Jeff Deist, spokesman for Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas.
I am not only insulted, but I am pissed off about this. Where in the hell were the Republicans on this? Why did they not try to block this? Were they sleeping? Oh and what authority do these observers have anyway? Do they get go look for the hanging chads? I would bet they were hand picked by the crats just in case they need to use them to get some credibility and fight the election outcome. This is just reduculous and should not be tolerated in the slightest. I don’t know who these (D)umbacrats are but if they work for you, you should let them know who wrong this is!
Voters angry, so what
From the
"You have lost my primary vote," declared another voter, reacting, like the first, to
"I have never voted party line, and I'll not be strong-armed into party line now!" another wrote.
"We will NEVER vote again," vowed another.
Those were some of the nicer e-mails -- the milder-mannered and non-profane ones -- that poured into the office of Secretary of State Sam Reed in the past week. And that was before voters had even seen the unfamiliar new ballots, meaning that the anger might intensify when they receive absentee ballots that went into the mail starting yesterday.
No longer will voters be able to skip back and forth across the primary ballot, voting for a Democrat for one office, a Republican for another and a Libertarian for still another.
Boy I hope they never vote again. That might even help

John Kerry Lying again? NO can’t be!
From The
John Kerry's own wartime journal is raising questions about whether he deserved the first of three Purple Hearts, which permitted him to go home after 4½ months of combat.
A primary claim against Mr. Kerry by the Swift Boat Veterans is that Mr. Kerry's first Purple Heart — awarded for action on Dec. 2, 1968 — did not involve the enemy and that Mr. Kerry's wounds that day were unintentionally self-inflicted.
Mr. Kerry has claimed that he faced his "first intense combat" that day, returned fire, and received his "first combat related injury."
A journal entry Mr. Kerry wrote Dec. 11, however, raises questions about what really happened nine days earlier.
"A cocky feeling of invincibility accompanied us up the Long Tau shipping channel because we hadn't been shot at yet, and Americans at war who haven't been shot at are allowed to be cocky," wrote Mr. Kerry, according the book "Tour of Duty" by friendly biographer Douglas Brinkley.
If enemy fire was not involved in that or any other incident, according to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, no medal should be awarded.
Well I can no longer say that I am not sure. Yep he is lying and has been apparently. At least about this and Christmas. This is exactly why he does not want to, and will not release his actual military records. Crud, we are getting the facts straight even with out them, it just takes longer this way. But that’s ok, because in the end it makes him look even worse. Just thinking about putting in a purple hart for an accidental self inflicted wound is unthinkable to me, then on top of that by all accounts that I have heard it was VERY minor.
Kerry has no one to blame here except himself. He said bring it on, well they are. Even if this Jerk get elected, I don’t think this is going to go away for him. It least one good thing for him that his supporters don’t give a crap about the truth or character, or morals, or positive leadership. Yep that’s a good thing for him, bad for ALL of us though.
Put them on a long flight!

I really hope this works. I am so sick of these people breaking the law to get here. Its not like there is no way for them to get in legally, it can be done. It just takes time and effort, two things they do not want to use. I wish we could do more to stop them, maybe one day we will.

Its Election Stealing Time!!!
I found this on Right Thinking from the
Quotes from Reuters :
About 46,000 people are registered to vote in two states,
The Daily News said it could not provide an exact count of how many people vote in both places, because millions of names are purged between elections. But the newspaper found that between 400 and 1,000 registered voters voted twice in at least one election, a federal offense punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Of the 46,000 registered in both states, 68 percent are Democrats, 12 percent are Republicans and 16 percent didn't align themselves with a party, the newspaper reported on Sunday.
The duel registrations have gone undetected because election officials do not check voter rolls across state lines, the newspaper said.
"There's no extensive investigation normally on a voter registration form," Steven Richman, general counsel for the city Board of Elections, told the paper. "We accept it at its face value."
Who would have thought! Naa Never. Nope cant be! All these people that are cross registered need to be contacted and removed from one of the rolls. You would think that would make sense right? Don’t bet on it is what I say. Now for the people that did vote twice.. Why is no one going after them? Fine them and put them in jail! The last quote that they just accept it at its face value, this is what is really wrong with the system. Geezz in this age its not hard to do this stuff quickly and efficiently. Why cant they get with the program? Oh right 68% are on there side?
Kids no longer see Red
I got this from Right Wing News:
Quotes from Boston.com
"If you see a whole paper of red, it looks pretty frightening," said Sharon Carlson, a health and physical education teacher at
Yeah I know when I got my papers back and I saw Red (Lots of RED) I almost always started peeing my pants and looking for an exit to escape from! Also when I finally did graduate the stock price of the Red Ink manufactures dropped over 30% that day alone. These people have lost it completely! I guess my question is what’s next? Just taking the papers and destroying them, and never grading them just to protect there little feelings?
I like Alice Cooper Again!
BitsBlog is on it again!
"To me, that's treason. I call it treason against rock 'n' roll because rock is the antithesis of politics. Rock should never be in bed with politics," says the 56-year-old Cooper
"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal."
Despite his strong insistence that rock has no place in politics, Cooper is one of just a handful of high-profile musicians who've proclaimed support for Bush.
This is finally one star that gets it! He might have proclaimed his support for Bush, but he also says the truth in that his opinion should not influence anyone! Dam I might have to go and buy one of his records now.

Dole Finally Interesting
All over, but quotes from BitsBlog:
"One day he's saying that we were shooting civilians, cutting off their ears, cutting off their heads, throwing away his medals or his ribbons," Dole said. "The next day he's standing there, `I want to be president because I'm a
Dole added: "And here's, you know, a good guy, a good friend. I respect his record. But three Purple Hearts and never bled that I know of. I mean, they're all superficial wounds. Three Purple Hearts and you're out."
Kerry spokesman Chad Clanton replied: "It's unfortunate that Senator Dole is making statements that official U.S. Navy records prove false. This is partisan politics, not the truth."
This is the most interesting thing that Dole has said since the charisma meter imploded during his run at the big office! Now if Dole believes what is in this book, and it seems he does, it can not be good news for the Johns. I mean that a lot of things have been said about Dole (like he is very boring), but I don’t think I have ever heard anyone question his honesty or integrity? Not that I can remember at least.
I also have to agree with Bit here. It is very interesting that at one time Kerry called the military and its records liars, but now they are the golden unquestionable truth? Well I might even agree with that a little if it were not for 200+ people that were there and witnessed events live and in living color (apparently they did not need to make movies for there memory to work also). If it were one or two other vets you could dismiss it but 200+? Now if your are that major media I wonder what the threshold is before you start covering a story? 10,000 1,000,000? Who knows, most likely they just don’t care, they don’t want to care, they want there Kerry no matter what the truth is!

Kerry calls all of them Liars
From all over but quotes from FOX:
"But here's what you really need to know about them. They're funded by hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Republican contributor out of
All Kerry did at this speech is attack the messenger, over 200 of them, and they are ALL liars?. He has not defended himself from the message itself. Now the media supports him on this point because when they talk about this speech they frame it as he is defending himself from the message these vets are trying to get out, but that’s just not true. Kerry is telling you all you need to know is that they are Republicans and that is supposed to make there message invalid. Again I don’t know if the message is correct, but if he is not refuting the message then I think there may be some truth in the message itself.
Over the last few days I have been in a funk about all this really. The people that don’t want Kerry in the oval office are messing up big time, and I fear it will allow Kerry to be President. They should not be attacking, bringing up, or even mentioning any thing to do with his service in

Alaska Gov has brains and Balls
From FoxNews:
Republican Gov. Frank Murkowski said he is encouraging oil companies to begin test drilling as early as January on the first three miles of submerged land off the
"We are a sovereign state and we have this authority and I hope we find a big puddle down there," Murkowski said.
This is just great! At least someone has the balls to stand up to the environmentalists. The facts are that drilling can be done safely, with ether very very little spilling on start up or most likely none at all. I just hope for his sake that the Feds and especially the dam activist judges stay out of the whole mix and let him do what he needs to do. He is doing more right now for the whole US then the (D)umbacrats have done in the last 4+ years! No, Kerry is bashing Bush for not having a energy plan, when in truth he does, but the congress that Kerry is a part of just seems not to be able to pass it or even one that they like. So because they wont pass an energy plan (Kerry and his friends) we still need more sources of oil my friends. I would love to see the Bush plans to put more research into Hydrogen powered cars actually happen, but for some reason the (D)umbacrats just wont let it happen. Who is helping big oil now? Hmmm…….
