Well Here we are 1 month from the finish line with one of the most liberal/socialist/Marxist candidate ever to run for office in the lead. In the end I believe that we all lose. No one will win this. This may just go down as the beginning of the end for the Great US of A. NOT because he is black, and NOT because he is a liberal/socialist. but because what he wants to do, which most Americans and congress seem more than willing to follow, will fundamentally change our country in ways that were never dreamed of and we may not have a way back. I don't think I need to rehash them here, but is in a nut shell it is the redistribution of wealth in the name of fairness, and the idea that everyone in entitled and the government is here to supply.

Just ask yourself one question. what does it mean when almost every other country in the world wants him to be our new president? It don't make me feel good.

Ok welcome back to me at least. I have not added to my Blog for quite awhile, but I will try to start posting again. If only for myself. Things are heating up in the bid for the next prez and all I want is a do over. more later.

Just some thoughts

OK, here we go down the road of crap so that the (D)umbacrat can get in to the gov’s house. People are starting to get pissed, even some liberals! So lets see what has happened so far. Dino won the first count. Then Dino won the second count, even after the (D)umbacrats added in votes (“RE”-count?) and even got to “Interpret” votes for the voters that don’t know how to vote correctly. That almost got them there, just 42 votes away from winning. So now we need to do at least one more count. This time thought we need to change the way we count so that we can “find” the other 42-43 votes that she needs to win. Yep we are going to change to a less perfect method of counting. You see they will tell you that the machines make about 1-2% errors. Well that is just not true. Here are the facts. 1-2% of voters make mistakes when they vote. While the machines are certified to make only 1 mistake in every 1,000,000 ballets counted. So if a group of people count all the ballets by hand and make 2 mistakes for every 1 million they count they are twice as bad as the machine. The problem is that they do not intend to be fair. They are going to do more “interpreting” of votes. Finding votes and other crap to win. You see even thought the election has been certified they still don’t think they lost.

Well now that the recount is in. I will predict that the Dumbacrats will ask for a hand recount in King County (the one county that really did all it could to close the lead on Rosi). They will then continue what they have apparently been doing for the last week and fabricate at least 43 new votes to make sure that Gregoire wins. I was asked if I really thought that they would do that. Well I don’t think they will. I know they will. They are the real believers in winning at all costs. Anyone who things that this state election was on the up and up is just nuts. King county has stole the election. Notice I did not blame Gregoire, I don’t think she really had anything to do with it, But the people in King county? That’s a whole other story.

The Illinois Supreme Court threw out two lawsuits accusing gunmakers of knowingly letting weapons fall into the hands of gang members and other criminals, ruling Thursday that the manufacturers cannot legally be blamed for street violence.

I am stunned, amazed and thankful that they finally came to the only reasonable decision. What the gun grabbers were proposing was the same as suing Ford or GM for selling cars that drunk drivers drive and kill people with. No one in there right mind is going to by that crap, and fortunately the Supreme Court in Illinois didn’t ether. What is wrong here is that the case should have never had gotten this far to start with. The lower court should have dismissed the case with prejudice or just refused to hear it at all. It just seems that the judges we have now just don’t have the will power to tell someone that they are being silly and to go away. Gun manufactures do not sell guns to criminals, if they did they would be shutdown by the Federal Government, and rightfully so! No they sell their weapons to distributors and gun shops. These too are tightly regulated outlets. If they were to sell to criminals they would also be shutdown. What I also don’t get here is, the Court made the correct decision, shouldn’t that be national news? Oh yeah, it went against the Liberals never mind.

Governor’s race

The race to direct Washington in the future is very tight. Right now Dino Rossi is ahead by only 261 votes. Now by anyone’s standards this is extremely close. So its time for a recount. Now it is true that no election in Washington state has ever been turned over on a recount, but no election has ever been this close. Also with the recent history of Lawyers getting involved in politics, the outcome is anyone’s guess. Even if the race is over turned and we get another liberal lawyer in office, one thing is clear. The people of Washington are slowly waking up and they want change, something different. My advice to Dino, if you get in you better produce. If you don’t you are not just going to hurt you but the Republican Party in Washington.

As a friend of mine said ‘you can measure how much I care in micro-give-a-s#@ts’. You don’t get to vote and your opinion does not count here. It is so F-ing arrogant to talk to us as if we really should value the opinion of a person that does not live here and does not have a real vested interested in the safety and future of this country. France takes unilateral action!

France rolled out overwhelming military force Sunday to put down an explosion of anti-French violence in its former West African colony, deploying troops, armored vehicles, and helicopter gunships against machete-waving mobs that hunted house-to-house for foreigners.

The U.N. Security Council, in emergency session late Saturday, demanded an immediate halt to all military action in Ivory Coast, and France blamed Ivory Coast's leader directly.

Wow where do you start with this one? I did not think that France had the balls to actually do anything like this. Why is this not in the main stream media? It seems that they are allowed to fight to protect their own interests, but that we can not.

Geraldine Ferraro joins the others

Geraldine Ferraro was on Hannity and Colmes last night. It was amazing. During the interview she said that if all the blue states got together and succeeded from the union, that there would be vuirtualy nothing left for the red states. No financial markets no nothing. The then went on to say that all the talent in this country is on both sides of the North East corridor. (blue states). This is almost a direct quote! This has been said in some way by quite a lot of liberals in the last 48 hours. So it seams that they have given up on us, and then figured out that they can not all move to Canada, so now they are floating this idea that we need to separate the union. Last time this happened there was a very bloody war. This difference this time? Well they wont really do this at all, they don’t have the guts to try. If they did, they would be in trouble. You see they don’t like guns and don’t believe that people should have guns. Us red state loving people do and have guns.

My Take on the Debate

Today I am finding my self in a interesting position. I disagree with DANEgerus. He things that Bush smacked Kerry around, but I disagree. Bush missed several opportunities and in at least a couple of points he seemed to let himself get flustered. Kerry on the other hand was on the attack. Bush was on message and did nail Kerry on several points I thought. Me I just wanted to see Bush nail Kerry every chance he could. Bush did point out several times Kerry’s stupidity by using his own words against him, but sometimes failed to follow up. For example when Bush brought up the 87 billion dollars, Kerry said he spoke badly, but Bush did not follow through at all. He should have said something like’ ok you misspoke, but you still voted to not fund the war, voted to not support the troops, you said that I sent them into battle with out proper equipment, after you voted down the money needed to get that equipment. He did not do that, he just let it go. There were many other missed opportunities, but on the whole I believe this is a draw. I just hope Bush does better next week.

With the debates coming all eyes are on the candidates again, and with good reason. Right now according to many different polls (none of which I believe) Bush is out in front by enough to win. Again I do not believe that, but what ya going to do. Anyway if Bush is going to keep the momentum up he has to clearly beat Kerry in the debates. Now I don’t mean stomp on him and make him cry for moma, but he has to win. The problem here is that Kerry is a great debater. Bush is not a great orator, but he talks like a real person, and talks to the people. Stay on message Mr. Bush we are listening.

My Wife

I have no idea how my wife puts up with me. Sense I lost my job I have been a mess. I can be fine one minute and the next nervous and upset to the point it almost makes me sick. I could never be a under cover agent my body would give me up in a second. My wife bless her has been comforting me the whole time. I know everything is going to be ok. I am looking for a job right now, and have been from the time I lost mine. Still sometimes I just cant seem to cope with it. I a so blessed she is with me.

North Korea Missiles

The preparations were detected after the reclusive communist state refused to take part in a fourth round of six-party talks on ending its nuclear ambitions and said it would never give up its nuclear deterrent.

Tokyo and Washington had detected the signs after analyzing data from reconnaissance satellites and radio traffic, the Japanese government sources said.

North Korean military vehicles, soldiers and possibly missile engineers were converging on several Rodong missile bases in the northeastern part of the isolated communist state, they said.

The signs were first detected Tuesday, the sources said.

Kerry needs to rethink his strategy

Former President Carter said Wednesday that the apparent open-ended presence of U.S. troops in Iraq has contributed to the wave of hostage-takings and other bloodshed.

"A lot of political analysts have said that one of the main reasons the Bush-Cheney administration went into Iraq was to establish a permanent military base there," Carter said in an interview with The Associated Press. "I think this arouses a great deal of unnecessary opposition."

Carter's remarks came as the family of fellow Georgian Jack Hensley learned that the contractor had been beheaded by his captors in Iraq. He was the second American hostage killed there by Islamic extremists in as many days.

"As much as any president in history, I was afflicted psychologically and politically by the holding of American hostages," Carter said. "So my heart goes out to all those who are involved in a similar crisis, particularly the Hensley family."

"The overwhelming issue in this country is the Iraqi war and the war against terrorism and who can address those problems more wisely and more honestly," Carter said. "I think that's the issue that Kerry has to pursue, because, in my opinion, President Bush has not been honest with the American people and has certainly failed in almost everything he professes to be doing in Iraq and in Afghanistan, unfortunately."

OK so Carter is supporting Kerry’s latest position on Iraq. This can not be good news for Kerry. Carter is the single biggest failure as President as can be thought of by most people. One thing is almost completely assured. If you want to do the right thing, do the opposite of what Carter is tell you. His foreign policy history is like looking at a nightmare. His answer has almost always been appeasement. Give them what ever it is they want, and don’t get in there way. Lead from behind. That is not the road we want to be on now, and Kerry agrees with this guy?

Soldier beaten at concert

Foster Barton, 19, of Grove City, received a Purple Heart for his military service in Iraq. He almost lost his leg last month after a Humvee he was riding in ran over a landmine.

Barton said he was injured again Friday night in a crowded parking lot as he was leaving the Toby Keith concert at Germain Amphitheatre. The solider was injured so badly that he can't go back to Iraq as scheduled.

"I don't remember getting hit at all, really," said Barton, a member of the 1st Calvary Division. "He hit me in the back of the head. I fell and hit the ground. I was knocked unconscious and he continued to punch and kick me on the ground."

Barton and his family said he was beat up because he was wearing an Iraqi freedom T-shirt.

"It's not our fault," Barton said. "I'm just doing a job."

According to a Columbus police report, six witnesses who didn't know Barton said the person who beat him up was screaming profanities and making crude remarks about U.S. soldiers, Burton reported. Barton's mother said she has a message for her son's alleged attacker, who police said ran into the crowd after the incident and was not arrested.

"He needs our prayers, just like the insurgents, because he's a coward," Cindy Barton said.

Well Kerry wanted Viet Nam. Looks like he is getting it. Is this how Kerry wants people to treat soldiers? This guy, this coward, that beats up on a single soldier, from behind. Washington state, once considered a fiercely competitive presidential battleground, is now firmly in Democrat John Kerry's column, according to a new poll commissioned by The Columbian newspaper of Vancouver, Wash.

Kerry beat President Bush 51 percent to 42 percent among Washington residents. Republicans haven't carried Washington since Ronald Reagan's re-election in 1984. The Bush-Cheney ticket lost the state by 5.6 percentage points in 2000.

"This is one of Kerry's better states in the country," and Washington no longer seems to be a battleground state, said pollster Thom Riehle, president of Ipsos-Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., which conducted the poll on behalf of The Columbian.

When I saw this I just had to laugh. I mean was there ever a doubt? This is the People Republic of Washington for goodness sake. I always wondered why President Bush would even spend any of his money here. This place was a lost cause from the word go for him. It would take a lot of really bad things happening to this state to change there mind. We have had at least one. Boeing Corp leaving Seattle, but I guess there will need to be more. That’s sad.

A retired Texas National Guard official mentioned as a possible source for disputed documents about President Bush's service in the Guard said he passed along information to a former senator working with John Kerry's campaign.

The retired Guard official, Bill Burkett, said in an Aug. 21 e-mail to a list of Texas Democrats that after getting through "seven layers of bureaucratic kids" in the Democrat's campaign, he talked with former Georgia Sen. Max Cleland about information that would counter criticism of Kerry's Vietnam War service. The Associated Press obtained a copy of the e-mail Saturday.

"I asked if they wanted to counterattack or ride this to ground and outlast it, not spending any money. (Cleland) said counterattack. So I gave them the information to do it with," Burkett wrote.

I know all of you out there just wont believe this, I mean Kerry would never use this kind of information. At least it explains how they had the commercial ‘fortunate son’ ready so quickly after C-BS ran with the forgeries. They had an inside track. Hell they might have even talked to Rather and helped persuade him to go for it. Now I am not sure, but I think this could have violated some kind of campaign law.. not that they care about that sort of thing to much.

Louisiana Bans Gay Marriages, Civil Unions

With 99 percent of precincts reporting, the amendment was winning approval with 78 percent of the vote, and support for it was evident statewide. Only in New Orleans, home to a politically strong gay community, was the race relatively close, and even there the amendment was winning passage. Turnout statewide appeared to be about 27 percent of Louisiana's 2.8 million voters, somewhat low for a state election.

Rawls said there were many possible grounds for challenging the results in state and federal court. One appeared Saturday, when voting machines were delivered late to some New Orleans precincts, keeping some from casting ballots for hours.

State director of elections Frances Sims said at least 59 precincts did not have voting machines when polls opened because officials with New Orleans' clerk of court's office failed to meet drivers who tried to deliver the machines earlier that morning. The problem was solved by midday.

If this is all they have to attach this in court than I think they are going to be sucking wind. I can just see it. 'Judge about 2 to 3 hundred people did not get to vote on this issue.' judge: 'you know your right. ok I will change the results based on 300 votes, so now it only passed by 77% fo the vote insted of 79%, ok all better. no GO AWAY'. Also notice they are going to make this a federal case. I hope the supreme court is ready to hear this one.

The boost Bush received from the Republican convention has increased rather than dissipated, reshaping a race that for months has been nearly tied. Kerry is facing warnings from Democrats that his campaign is seriously off-track.

Now I am sorry but I thought that Kerry has been off his tracks for quite some time. Really this has been in the news for quite some time, but because it is sticking around I am starting to believe it. I am starting to be more hopeful. I still don’t think Bush can win Washington, but I also hope that will not matter.

"Our own state government doesn't seem to care that jobs and employers are leaving the state," Rossi said at a news conference at Seattle University, his alma mater. He said he will focus on six areas in need of reform in state government and laid out what he called "concrete solutions," although some fell far short of concrete.

As he has done repeatedly, the former state senator from Sammamish made clear that his main campaign target is 20 years of Democratic governors -- and that state Attorney General Christine Gregoire would represent more of "the status quo in Olympia" if she is elected.

"She is the status quo in Olympia," he said of his opponent.

This article is not very nice to Rossi, but I would expect no less from the PI. Dino has some good ideas, a little vague on the details so far, but I hope that will come together soon. If nothing else he will bring a change to this state if he can get in office.

No Draft with Kerry in Charge

So what this means is that ether Kerry is going to reduce troops in Iraq, or be believes that we will need less troops. Why? Because I would put money on it now that if Kerry is the Pres that they will have a hard time keeping people in the military and recruiting people into the military, No one wants to serve a Pres that testified to congress that they are war criminals. I mean how as a soldier could you trust the man to take care of you?

Bush Talks Health Care

"I don't think you can be pro-doctor, pro-patient, pro-hospital, and pro-trial lawyer at the same time. See, I think you have to choose," Bush said Tuesday in Greenwood Village, Colo. "My opponent made his choice. He put him on the ticket. I made my choice: I'm standing with the docs and patients. I am for medical liability reform now."

Bush's proposals to address the problem include letting small businesses pool resources to buy health insurance at the same discounts available to larger companies. He also favors expanding tax-free health saving accounts for individuals and plans to propose a tax credit to help poor families and individuals buy health coverage. Further, he wants to have health centers in the poorest communities to serve the underprivileged.

In addition, Bush has called for a medical liability overhaul to limit malpractice awards and thus, he argues, drive down rising health care costs.

Kerry wants to help more businesses offer health care by requiring the federal government to pick up 75 percent of catastrophic health care costs, a plan his campaign estimates will lower premiums by an average of 10 percent. The Massachusetts senator also would give small businesses a tax credit to help them bear the cost of health insurance and wants to allow people to buy cheaper-priced drugs from Canada.

I am sorry, but I like it when Bush comes out swinging. It just sounds so…. Like me. My only problem with his plan is the health centers. We are going to have to pay for them. If there was some way that if people went there and had to pay at least something in proportion to what they can afford it would be better.

I am really not sure if limiting the malpractice awards is going to help that much, because what we really need is judges that can be judges. They need common sense. If a doctor, which is human, makes a simple mistake like missing a diagnosis that is not malpractice that is a mistake. On the other hand if the doctor or hospital amputates the wrong foot (yep it happened) then the gloves come off and the skies the limit baby. But we need judges that can look at a case and then have the intestinal fortitude to say sorry but your clam is crap and will not be heard in this court.

Kerry’s plan on the other hand is a step towards socialized medicine. Go ahead and ask Canada how that’s working out for them……..

CBS News anchor Dan Rather on Wednesday strongly defended his 60 Minutes story critical of President Bush's military service, saying that his report is true but that legitimate questions have been raised about the authenticity of documents he used to support it.

No one, Rather said repeatedly in an interview, has yet disputed "the heart" of his report. But, he said, a "thick partisan fogging machine seeks to cloud the core truth of our story by raising questions about the messenger, methods and techniques."

Actually we have been disputing the heart of the report. The documents, because with out those fake documents there is no story. This is just another case of the (D)umbacrats taking, or making an allegation be a true of false, false in this case, and then saying ‘its not if the allegation or how we came to the allegation that matters, but it is the seriousness of the allegation that matters’. Sorry NO it is important how you get from point A to point B, because if the way you got there was through false crap then no one should care about B. Is that clear? Most likely not……

And the thing that Rather wants disputed. Fine. The information in those Fake Documents is false and events did not happen that way. Feel better Dan?

Cops hide under there beds after lifting of gun ban

Tonight, the Big Story was that since the sunset of the AWB, Philadelphia cops think they are suddenly out-gunned. And NBC reports the story of a cop rushing to the scene of an abandoned AK-47 in some ally somewhere.

Then, they have some low-level officer saying that he feels like the criminals (since the end of the ban -- that would be yesterday) out-power him.

OK Cops are NOT hiding under there beds, but it seems that NBC would like you to believe that it may happen. Alphecca is great for these stories!

Puyallup City Council does not like fun

Puyallup city leaders say they want to ban motor scooters, a step that apparently would make it the first Washington city to prohibit the vehicles popular among school-age kids.

Until this week, Pierce County's third-largest city had been moving to do what other local governments have done or talked about doing: establish a minimum age, operating hours and other restrictions to rein in the noisy and sometimes-dangerous scooters.

Instead, the Puyallup City Council voted 6-1 Monday night to have its staff draft an ordinance that would force motorized foot scooters into the garage.

Earlier this year, the city posted a draft ordinance on its Web site that mirrored other cities' regulations. Dozens of residents responded online.

"We've got enough government in our lives - just leave us alone, Dave Nichols, one of the online respondents, said in an interview Tuesday. "Parents need to take control, not the city."

But an overwhelming majority of the more than 100 respondents favored regulating motor scooters. Dave Morgan was one of them, though he noted how Puyallup's original plan was flawed because it merely detoured scooters to slow-traffic streets.

"All it does is push them into residential areas," he said Tuesday.

A ban, however, "is common sense working at its best," Morgan said.

The Puyallup council had been poised to vote Monday on an ordinance that would have set the minimum age to operate the scooters at 14, required helmets on operators and prohibited them on "parks, sidewalks, trails, and streets with a maximum speed limit above 25 miles per hour."

This is just so dam silly. Just regulate it dam. Teach the kids to stay off the sidewalks, how to ride with traffic like a bike. Let the parents do what they are suppose to be doing! Then we have this bonehead that says it is common sense? Well if we go down that line of thought, we need to ban bikes, skateboard (I think they might have already done that), roller skates and roller blades. Of if you get silly you can even start banning motorcycles in city limits. I mean just because some people think it is dangerous does that mean that you have to ban it? I think that a lot of people are making Cars dangerous, does that mean that we need to ban cars? NO, what it means is that people need to be taught how to drive, and if they cant do it right they need to be punished (ticketed). Puyallup has had this attitude for the last several years I believe. Doctors must pay for Translators?

The Bush administration is threatening to yank federal money from physicians, hospitals and clinics that don't comply with a policy put in place in the prior administration that aims to help immigrants gain access to medical care.

Four years ago, President Clinton signed the executive order requiring doctors who treat Medicare and Medicaid patients to hire translators for those who don't speak English.

"The problem here is that we're required by a presidential order, without funding, to have translation in every single language requested by the patient. So this could be up to 500 languages," said Dr. Clifford Colwell, who is fighting back with thousands of other doctors who are suing the federal government, claiming the rule is unconstitutional.

Ok this is just stupid! One the administration should not just pull the funding unless they are going to also remove the rule requiring the translators. Two the rule should not exist. If you need a translator than you should have to pay for that, not the doctor, unless the doctor can not speak English… I understand that everyone should have access to health care, but that does not mean it should be free, or that I (we) should be paying for it, much less than paying for a translator!

In this letter they clamed that because we, the US, are the sole remaining super power, that we should allow them to vote in our elections, because what we do affects them. Well that might be true enough, but there is at least 2 ways that I can think of for them to vote in our elections. One move here and become a citizen, and two apply for statehood! It could be done I think. Other than that Kiss Off!

Now I like the Australians, despite what Kerry thinks they are GREAT allies. They are with us in Iraq and have always stood by our side, but they have no say in what we do here or how we run our country. If they want a say then they need to take one of the steps above. WOW. The day if finally here. Its been a long time coming. It seems strange that here in America that we were not able to buy simple things like magazines that carried more than 10 rounds. America has always been looked at by the rest of the world as the gun toting wild west, talked about like we ALL carried guns on our hips. It seems strange when you look back and see that someone said ‘well that gun has a folding stock so it WAY more dangerous, you cant have one.’ That just sounds un-American. Kerry’s quote really does show how stupid he is. He says he has been a hunter all his life. I believe that Bush put on one of his best performances. He covered all the issues that were needed to be covered. I wish he would have stayed on domestic issues more, and I don’t like growing the government, but at least he has a real plan and a direction. Kerry seems like a box of Chocolates you never know what your going to get. I am sure Kerry is upset about the speech, but I am not sure what he is going to do about it except whine and lie. I am waiting for a bounce I can only hope happens. Did Bush blow me away? No. Did I hear what I expected to here? Yes. Am I disappointed? Maybe just a little. Cheney gave a great speech! To be honest I thought it would be boring, it wasn’t. Yes he started out slow in a style that I expected from him, but he picked up, his humor showed through big as day! Dave Reichert walks out on a debate?

King County Sheriff Dave Reichert is sick and tired of "dirty politics," and he's not going to take it anymore.

Reichert was irked by recent direct mailings from Tebelius and Esser questioning his loyalty to the Republican Party and blaming him for a $7 million settlement paid out because of a lawsuit involving late overtime payments to sheriff's office employees, according to Bruce Boram, his campaign manager.

"Diane and Luke know better than that, and they should be ashamed," Reichert said in an interview after the forum. "If you are going to attack me, attack me with facts -- not misleading information or things taken out of context."

"Everyone tells him, 'This is how politics is played,' " Boram said. "His response is, 'It shouldn't be like this.' "

I have to agree with both sides on this one. Right now I am going to vote for Reichert, because he is not a politician. That is a big plus for me. I want to ask these other two: what happened to the eleventh commandment? Republicans should not be playing dirty with each other. Its never good to walk out on a debate but I understand why he did. It got attention, that’s what he wanted.

I remember President Bush coming here on September 14, 2001 and lifting the morale of our rescue workers by talking with them and embracing them and staying with them much longer than originally planned.

In fact, if you promise to keep it just between us so I don't get in trouble it was my opinion that the Secret Service was concerned about the president remaining so long in that area.

With buildings still unstable, with fires raging below ground of 2000 degrees or more, there was good reason for concern.

Well the president remained there and talked to everyone, the firefighters, the police officers, the healthcare workers, the clergy, but the people who spent the most time with him were our construction workers.

Now New York construction workers are very special people. I'm sure this is true all over but I know the ones here the best. They were real heroes along with many others that day, volunteering immediately. And they're big, real big. Their arms are bigger than my legs and their opinions are even bigger than their arms. Now each one of them would engage the president and I imagine like his cabinet give him advice. They were advising him in their own words on exactly what he should do with the terrorists. Of course I can't repeat their exact language.

But one of them really went into great detail and upon conclusion of his remarks President Bush said in a rather loud voice, "I agree."

At this point the guy just beamed and all his buddies turned toward him in amazement.

The guy just lost it.

So he reached over, embraced the president and began hugging him enthusiastically.

A Secret Service agent standing next to me looked at the president and the guy and instead of extracting the president from this bear hug, he turned toward me and put his finger in my face and said, "If this guy hurts the president, Giuliani you're finished."

It stories like that, that only Rudy can tell, that remind us why we must support our president. No he is not perfect, no one is, but when it counts here is there, and he leads! Rudy did a fantastic speech. He reminded us what its all about. Explained to everyone, that was listening that we need a leader that will stick with a decision. Sure he took some shots at Kerry, He made them in a joking manner, but they were shots none the less, and I am sure that the main stream media will be all over them. But the great things about these shots were the fact that they were all on Kerry’s record, which as I have been saying, is exactly where we need to be aiming. It will be very hard, if not impossible, for Kerry to effectively defend himself from these facts. I also liked John McCain’s speech also. He was a little stiff and did not have as much energy, but the message was there. I just wonder if could get Rudy to speak again before Thursday?

At least that’s what it feels like. Sure they have a right to protest, but you think that the real story would be the opposite. I think the coverage of the protesters are good in some ways, depending on how they are shown and interviewed. Sean Hannity did his Man on the Street segment and talked to several of the young protesters there. Several of them Sean convinced (by giving them the wrong name) that Kerry’s running mate was a MR. Stu Ped. Most all of them bought it. Even the ones that knew who the players were failed when asked one important question; What in the his last 19 years of the Senate has Kerry done that makes you want to vote for him. All most all tried to go into the he’s not Bush. Sean didn’t let them do that. None of them had a answer. Not one, and he interviewed 5-6 of them. If more people or media people would just ask that question when they talk to protesters and also not let them get into the “he’s not bush” or let them answer that way, it would really help us out. I really do think that almost everyone that is going to vote Kerry is using that reason to vote that way, and have no other reason. Smart people when confronted with that will take pause and think and search for a reason.

Lawmakers who requested the OSCE presence said problems in the 2000 election spurred them to ask the international organization to participate. They say that the monitors will help ensure that the United States should have nothing to hide, but the observers will be there to make sure the election does not suffer any civil rights violations or other irregularities.

Rep. Barbara Lee "felt that given the sort of problems that occurred in the 2000 election that it would be important that there be election monitors on hand for this election," said Stuart Chapman, a spokesman for the California Democrat.

But critics say that inviting an international organization is not only insulting to the world's strongest democracy, but it also puts U.S. sovereignty at risk.

"A lot of Americans are naturally going to be insulted by the idea that there is something wrong with our democratic process and that we need these bureaucrats from abroad," said Jeff Deist, spokesman for Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas.

I am not only insulted, but I am pissed off about this. Where in the hell were the Republicans on this? Why did they not try to block this? Were they sleeping? Oh and what authority do these observers have anyway? Do they get go look for the hanging chads? I would bet they were hand picked by the crats just in case they need to use them to get some credibility and fight the election outcome. "I have never voted party line, and I'll not be strong-armed into party line now!" another wrote.

"We will NEVER vote again," vowed another.

Those were some of the nicer e-mails -- the milder-mannered and non-profane ones -- that poured into the office of Secretary of State Sam Reed in the past week. And that was before voters had even seen the unfamiliar new ballots, meaning that the anger might intensify when they receive absentee ballots that went into the mail starting yesterday.

No longer will voters be able to skip back and forth across the primary ballot, voting for a Democrat for one office, a Republican for another and a Libertarian for still another.

Boy I hope they never vote again. That might even help Seattle and Washington state! So here are the facts. The primary is for the parties to choose who gets to run in THE election. It is not THE election. If you are not a member of the party why do you think that you should choose who will represent them? I am sorry this bothers you so much, ok so I’m not, but get a life people. Yep it’s a new system, but in the defense of the politicians that picked this new system, they did not want to change the system. Some Judge decided that somewhere in the constitution it says that it can not be a open primary. I say constitution because he is suppose to read the current law and determine if it is constitutional. So they came up with two systems. One was like the open primary that we had before, but the two top vote getters go on to the main event. The problem with this is that, in this state, you would have a choice between (D)umbacrat 1 and (D)umbacrate 2 that is just not a system that I would like as I would have no one that I would want to vote for. The other system is a closed primary where the party picks its man to run. Gary Locke did something right when he chose this system. So if you don’t like it. Fine then don’t vote!

If enemy fire was not involved in that or any other incident, according to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, no medal should be awarded.

Well I can no longer say that I am not sure. Yep he is lying and has been apparently. At least about this and Christmas. This is exactly why he does not want to, and will not release his actual military records. Crud, we are getting the facts straight even with out them, it just takes longer this way. But that’s ok, because in the end it makes him look even worse. Over the last few days I have been in a funk about all this really. The people that don’t want Kerry in the oval office are messing up big time, and I fear it will allow Kerry to be President. They should not be attacking, bringing up, or even mentioning any thing to do with his service in Viet Nam (You did know Kerry was in Viet Nam right?). What they need to be doing is attacking and exposing what he did after he got back home. No I am not talking about his Lying to congress ether. I think that’s a good idea, but if they are getting fired on then do we need to start thinking about helping them out by supplying them with some soldiers? They are law enforcement not a swat team or a military patrol. I don’t want to see any border patrol agent killed because we did not ether give him the right equipment for his job, or because we did not give him the proper support tools (military assistance). If they are infiltrating our borders by force, then I believe we have a right to resist that infiltration with greater force. This is another fight we just do not want to loose.

Normally we don’t see stories that make us cheer for the FBI, but this is different! I knew all along that the current administration was telling the truth when they said that they are currently pursuing terrorists. Now we have some proof that they can show us. Way to go guys. The only downside that I can see is that there is going to be an out cry of entrapment and other crap. I don’t know why people like this can’t be striped of there citizenship and then dealt with appropriately then. . Again glad the feds got the slime balls! Good job!!!

Congress to take more power? LOL

September 11 commission members said yesterday that Congress must use their report to justify taking more power and oversight from the White House as the two branches go about reorganizing domestic security and intelligence.

Now I agree with this recommendation, but the problem is that the members of the congress know that if they take more power in these issues, which they have the right and responsibility to do, they will also inherit the responsibility for what happens. They wont like that, I don't think they will do it ether. There is also the problem of acting in a timely manor to changing conditions. Committees don’t do that well at all.

Now republicans have said they will move quickly on these recommendations, but also don’t want to go to fast, but the (D)umbacrats, following the Johns, want to take what the commission said and run with it now. The problem is that, that is exactly how we got the patriot act. I am not against the patriot act all together, but it does have problems. I believe that most of the problems came from the speed of which it was created not the republicans or dumbacrats.

I think that the Harris County Organized Crime Unit needs a LOT more training. The judge that issued the search warrant needs to make sure that they know what they are looking at also. For goodness sake the plants in question were in the front yard. All they had to do was walk up to the house look at them compare them to a picture and then walk away. More than half a dozen government officials interviewed yesterday, who declined to be identified because classified information is involved, said that most, if not all, of the information about the buildings seized by authorities in a raid in Pakistan last week was about three years old, and possibly older.

Intelligence officials said that the remarkably detailed information about the surveillance -- which included logs of pedestrian traffic and notes on the types of explosives that might work best against each target -- was evaluated in light of general intelligence reports received this summer indicating that al Qaeda hopes to strike a U.S. target before the November presidential elections.

Now it seems that the only story that the major media wants to report on is that most of the intel is 3 years old. Therefore proving that the administration did this just to draw attention itself and hurt their man Kerry. Only two real problems with that. One, there is new intel that goes with the older intel. This new intel connects the survailance to a time frame for attack. Or more likely when you have a time frame for attack, you start looking for where they are going to attack. Now barring any new location information you start looking at older data, once there you find the most likely and bingo your winner by default. Sorry if that was convoluted. Now, two, this info comes from the left slanted media. They quote NO sources by name or station. Just calling them government officials. A government official could be the receptionist for goodness sake. Now I am not saying they did make this up, just that this would not be the first time they gave us a half truth. Sorry I just don’t trust the media that looks me in the face and says “I have no bias at all” and then gives reports that clearly shows how biased it is.

He wanted a 50 cent increase in the gas tax for goodness sake. Then he said he wants to be a president that unites all people. So lets see, as he and the other John are preaching class warfare, pitting “rich” against “poor”, he goes on national TV and Radio and says I want to bring you all together? Nope don’t buy that ether, and you shouldn’t ether. Than the faith comment. When you read that quote, or when you hear him say this crap, just remember this is the party that harbors the nuts that want to remove ‘under GOD’ from the pledge of allegiants. John does not really believe what he said last night. He just said these things for people that do not want to look at his past and see the truth of who he is. Please don’t be one of them.

Oh and then there are the adds running that have Kerry saying he can lower the cost of health care by streamlining the paperwork. Well is he saying that while in congress, where he helped create the paperwork, he did not do any work on reducing the paperwork, but as president he will be able to do that? No friends he is lying again. The President can not do that, All the President could do is propose to change the Medicare runes, it would still take congress to change them and then the President could sign the change into law. That might be a detail people need to know. Oh and did you know that John Kerry was in Viet Nam? Yeah he was. They she talks about greedy choices? How much is she worth again? Saw it everywhere I looked!

Don’t expect much out of me this week, because the news is all going to be about the (D) people. I will try to find other things to talk about if I can. One thing I saw last night was an interview with Hillary before she had her speech. One thing she said that kind of made me laugh. She said we should be asking who we would want so be in a fox hole with. Of course she said we should pick Kerry. Uh.. No. As having spent some time in a fox hole myself, I would have to pick someone else. Surprisingly my first choice is not Bush ether. Its Vice President Dick Cheney. Anyone that tells a senator to F-himself is a person that I want watching my back! Now did you know that Kerry was in Viet Nam? Well in case you missed it, he was. When he was there he was on a river patrol boat, and in charge. They came under fire. He apparently tagged the slime ball with a 50cal. Then he got out of the boat and chased him down and killed the slime ball. OK this might sound heroic, but the commander of the boat got out of his boat to chase down a single bad guy. This is clearly stupid and just the wrong thing to do. He left his men. Risked his life and the life of his men doing this stupid stunt, but hey he is a war hero now!

That the CIA did give him the right information. You must also believe that the 911 commission lied in its findings, that the Senate intelligence committee lied also about its finding. Saturday she sparked protests and got booted from the Aladdin hotel-casino in Las Vegas. "It was a very ugly scene," Aladdin President Bill Timmins told the Associated Press. "She praised him and all of a sudden all bedlam broke loose." Whisked off the property, Ronstadt, 58, was not allowed to return to her luxury suite. Before her show, she felt compelled to tell the Las Vegas Review-Journal: "I keep hoping that if I'm annoying enough to them, they won't hire me back." Mission accomplished.

I am glad that Mr. Timmins did what he did. He did the right thing. No one went there to here her shoot off her mouth about something that she clearly does not understand. I also hope that now she has a much harder job of even finding a job. Mr. Mhore is an America hater plane and simple. You do have the freedom of speech, but that does not mean that you there will not be a reaction. Every action has a reaction. The first amendment only states that the government can not react. Mr. Mhore and Linda need to learn and remember that.

When will they all get it straight and just give up on the “Bush lied and man died”. They never cared about the men that died, unless they were family. All they cared about was there agenda. Bush said what he thought based on what he was told. No president or world leader second guesses there intelligence services. There is no way they could. They don’t have the time to micromanage them. One problem that I see is that there is just to many bureaucrats in the intelligence services. Let them run something safe like the library system. We need Intel people running Intel! I just find it strange that people believe that the president is so stupid that he would lie to get us into a war, hoping that ether his false evidence would be made true, or that no one would discover that he lied!
